End User License Agreement

1. Parties

This Agreement is between HUZK LTD, a company registered in England & Wales under number 13052672 ("HUZK", "we") and you, the end user ("you"). By installing or using the iOS or Android Citizenship Day Calculator app ("App") you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

On Apple platforms this Agreement is concluded between you and HUZK only. Apple Inc. is a third-party beneficiary of clauses 5 and 6 below and may enforce them. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish maintenance and support services with respect to the App.

2. Licence grant

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, HUZK grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on any iOS or Android device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

On Apple devices, the licence extends to any associated Apple ID under the Family Sharing rules. On Android, the licence is per Google account and not currently shared across family group members because Google Play does not offer subscription sharing.

3. Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense or lease the App.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code, except to the extent the law expressly permits despite this restriction.
• Use the App in connection with content that violates law or third-party rights.
• Use the App to circumvent, evade or defeat any country's immigration controls. The App is a research tool; it does not authorise unlawful entry or stay.

4. Subscription terms (Pro tier)

• Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple App Store or Google Play. HUZK does not process your payment instrument directly.
• Renewal price and currency are shown to you at the point of purchase and may change with prior notice via the platform.
• Cancellation stops auto-renewal at the end of the current billing period; you retain Pro access until that date.
• Refunds are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play under their own refund policies. See /app/support.

5. No warranty

The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise. HUZK does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any defect will be corrected. HUZK makes no representation that the eligibility dates the App calculates correspond to a successful citizenship application — citizenship is granted by national authorities on the basis of the full facts of your case.

You acknowledge that the App is an informational tool only and is not legal advice. Always consult a qualified immigration lawyer before submitting any application based on the calculator's output.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HUZK's aggregate liability arising out of or related to your use of the App is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid HUZK in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) the equivalent of GBP 50.

HUZK is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, application-fee losses, or visa or naturalisation refusals, even if HUZK was advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of statutory consumer rights.

7. Intellectual property

The App, including all text, graphics, calculator logic, source code (apart from the open-source calculator logic published at github.com/serdalgoger/citizenship-day-calculator under the MIT licence), trademarks and trade dress, is owned by HUZK or its licensors. No rights are granted to you except as expressly set out in this Agreement.

8. Termination

This Agreement remains in force until terminated. You may terminate at any time by uninstalling the App and, if you hold a Pro subscription, by cancelling it through the store. HUZK may terminate immediately if you breach this Agreement; on termination, the licence in clause 2 ends and you must delete the App from your devices.

9. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by the privacy notice at /app/privacy, which forms part of this Agreement.

10. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of England & Wales. The courts of England have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or related to it, except that nothing prevents you from bringing proceedings in the courts of your country of habitual residence where local mandatory consumer-protection law gives you that right.
