What is 'reckonable' residence?
Time in Ireland on valid residence permission. Student visas and short-stay permissions do NOT count as reckonable.
What is the 1-year continuous requirement?
Last year before applying must be continuous (max 6 weeks total absence).
Can I include EU residence?
Only time spent in Ireland counts. EU residence elsewhere does not count.
