No. As of October 2025, the 3-year fast-track was abolished. Standard route is 5 years.
What absences break continuous residence?
Single trip over 6 months can break it. Tourism is fine; longer trips may need pre-approval.
Is dual citizenship allowed?
Yes, since June 2024 reform, Germany generally allows dual citizenship.
